In fact, there is at least one, which seems to be in a coma: Freecard.

As for a dotnet clone, why not using Jython on top of Java ? lightweight ? According to Sun, Java is not too big. And anyway Bigger is better!

Still, the latest JRE is 8 Mb for Win32 and 15 Mb for Linux... it takes a long time on a dialup modem to download that (and I do, for one, pays per minute my dialup). And for a reason Sun only understands, if I can find a copy of DirectX on every single CD delivered with computer magazine, there is never any JRE on it.
