Dave's rant about lineto/moveto in a browser had me checking how SVG support was going on in Mozilla: quite well!
Some simple SVG code And some more. Not really harder than CSS, I guess.
<g id="tree" style="stroke:black;fill:none;stroke-width:1.5;">
<path d="M 5 70 h 10 v -10 h 5 v 20 h 5 v -10 h 10" />
<path d="M 35 70 70 20" /> <rect id="box1" x="70" y="10" width="50" height="20" style="stroke:red;"></rect> <path d="M 35 70 70 70" /> <rect id="box2" x="70" y="60" width="50" height="20" style="stroke:green;"></rect> <path d="M 35 70 70 120" /> <rect id="box3" x="70" y="110" width="50" height="20"></rect> </g> (full file here)
I like SVG !
Note: if you're not using Mozilla+SVG, you need a SVG plugin

A great deal of effort is going into technical means for finding information on the net, but hardly anybody has been helping newcomers figure out where the net fits in the larger picture of their own careers.
