Exotic 'n Erotic - 06/04/2002

There is a song singing in my head and I need the mp3 to help me get it out of up there.
Can you believe it ! I stop posting here for about half a month, and guess what ?
nothing, nada, nicht
not a single word in the DailyNews, no naked picture in the mail (well, except from Sabrina) begging me to write again, no money sent to my paysecam account...
Anyway, I had some links left. Hope you enjoy them.

Dear Diary
See, apparently lots of other folks decided they hated the true blog format too. So their "blogs" quickly evolved into online personal diaries. And what's the result? A whole lotta folks are writing, really writing. About all kinds of things. In their natural writing voices (well, in most cases anyway). Folks who never kept online journals or diaries before. Folks whose personal sites focused more on artwork, webcams, and a small number of essays before they started the "blogging" game. We're all hearing--really hearing--their voices for the very first time and that, to me, is rather exciting. Hell, I haven't seen this much avid writing on the Internet since the days when bulletin boards were king.
Of course, it all begs the question: why do some folks continue to call their collections of writing "blogs"? When I hear about "bloggerville" and "the blogging community," I chuckle. Can't help it. Because a big chunk of the blogging community isn't really about weblogging at all, not anymore. At least, not by the original definition.
That's all, folks.
Just in case you're not overdosed yet and need more links, K5 readers has a few more suggestions
Finally, my friend Google was unable to help me finding the title of the crappy mid80s song that is currently airing into my head. All I can remember is that some lyrics were "E xo ticand ero tic..". Can you help? (Later Sandy Marton : Exotic and Erotic)
